I feel so blessed to be part of St. Patrick Catholic School! I began teaching here in the fall of 2017. I mainly teach 5th and 6th grades but also teach 2nd grade science. Prior to teaching at St. Patrick, I taught one year at Dakota Valley in North Sioux City, SD, and nine years at Union Community Schools in Dysart.
I was raised in a small farming community in northwest Iowa and attended Spalding Catholic School from kindergarten through my senior year of high school. Following graduation, I pursued my degree in education at UNI, where I graduated in the spring of 2007 with a degree in elementary education and an endorsement in K-8 literary education.
In 2010 Eric and I married, and we have two daughters, Raelle and Delaney. As a family we love fishing, golfing, and our yearly summer vacation to Minnesota. We look forward to football season every year.
St. Patrick is the most welcoming environment, with high expectations for leadership and academic success among our students. As both a teacher and parent, I appreciate how our faith is at the root of everything we do. It’s the best place to be!
