Spanish language instruction begins in kindergarten and continues through grade eight. With this early exposure, students become fluent and enjoy learning about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Students reap the well-known cognitive benefits of early world language learning and develop a bigger view of the world.
Through teacher collaboration, our art, music, and language arts programs compliment and reinforce the Spanish language and culture the students learn in Spanish class. Cross curricular projects bring these subject areas together with exciting ways to learn.
What will my child learn in Spanish class? Students learn according to a two-year rotating curriculum for grades 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8. Kindergarten uses the same plan each year.
