Library & Technology Resources for Parents

1. Students may check out three books at a time unless they are doing a research project and need more. Students can always ask permission if they have a need for more books.
2. Books will be checked out for 2 weeks at a time. They may be renewed as needed.
3. If a book has been damaged or lost, we ask that the student pay the replacement cost for the book. If a book is lost or damaged please contact Mrs. Sink. 
4. Students must be respectful, responsible, and safe.

The Iowa Association of School Librarians give children a voice each year in choosing these award winners:
The Goldfinch Award-  For kindergarten - grade 3 
Iowa's Children's Choice- For grades 4-6
Iowa Teen Award- For grades 7 -9 

Caldecott Award Winners- recognize the most distinguished American picture book illustrations
Newberry Award Winners- recognize distinguished contributions to American literature for children
Coretta Scott King Award- demonstrate African American culture
