We believe that formation in faith is a lifelong journey beginning at home and facilitated throughout the day at St. Patrick School.
Our focus is threefold:
- Message: Knowledge of our Catholic faith
- Community: Application of Christian relationships
- Service: Putting others before ourselves
As a Catholic school, faith is part of everything we do. Times for prayer and Mass strengthen our relationship with the Lord. Our focus on faith builds strong moral character as we partner with parents in developing each child’s mind, body and spirit. We are a community working together and you can feel the difference when you enter our halls.
Each week kicks off with Monday Morning Prayer, where we come together as the St. Patrick family in the Collaboration and Communication Center (shown below). We pray for others, celebrate successes, hear important announcements, learn something about the Leader in Me, and provide an opportunity for leadership as classes take turns leading this activity. Parents are welcome to join us, and many do.
All faiths are welcome at St. Patrick and we serve students from a variety of faith backgrounds. You do not need to be Catholic to attend St. Patrick or Clover Patch Preschool! We begin morning announcements with prayer, setting the tone for the school day. Our students show their love for Christ and others by looking after one another, treating their peers with respect, doing their best every day, and serving others.
As part of our Catholic identity, St. Patrick students lead Wednesday morning Masses at St. Patrick Church. Masses are twice a month with additional sevices during Advent and Lent. Parents are welcome to attend.
Our annual Grandparents/Special Friend Mass, held in September, welcomes the extended family to worship with us and visit our classrooms.
Multi-age Faith Families provide a unique opportunity for students to celebrate their faith through activities and service projects. These "Faith Families" meet monthly, and students remain with the same group from year to year. Older students are wonderful role models for younger ones as they grow in Christ at St. Patrick Catholic School.
