Spanish language instruction begins in kindergarten and continues through grade eight. With this early exposure, students become fluent and enjoy learning about the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. Students reap the well-known cognitive benefits of early world language learning and develop a bigger view of the world. Through teacher collaboration, our art and music programs compliment and reinforce the Spanish language and culture the students learn in Spanish class.

Our partnership with the University of Northern Iowa Department of Languages and Literatures brings college students into the classroom to work with our students and into our activities program to assist with our after-school Spanish Club.

Flexible schedules allow for exciting and beneficial cross-curricular projects.
