Looking for a convenient way to serve our community?

Community meals are served every Tuesday at United Methodist Church across the street. Saint Patrick's hosts the meal every second Tuesday. Food preparation is done between 12:30 and 3:00 by a small assembly of volunteers. The meal begins service at 4:30. We are looking for a couple of regular or fill in volunteers to help prepare the meal. You can leave anytime to pick up your kids from school. If you have one to three hours a month to help with chopping, heating, and preparing this is the job for you! Please call or text Dani at 319-988-1047.

Are your students outgrowing their uniform clothing? We have bins with gently used uniform clothing here at school for free. We have a particularly large selection of girls size 5 & 6. If you would like to look through the bins, stop in the office and we will direct you. If you have uniforms you can no longer use and would like to donate them, you can bring those in as well.

Protection of God’s Children – Information from the Archdiocese of Dubuque

Parents, the Archdiocese of Dubuque takes seriously its call to provide the safest possible environment for all of our young people.  As part of that call, we provide information to parents to help them and all of us to be more informed of the issues and topics related to the abuse of children. It is our sincere hope that by partnering together we can continually provide the safest possible environment for all our young people to grow into healthy, Christ-filled adults.

We invite you to view the Catholic Mutual Group Training “Safe Haven - It's Up to You”  videos that all employees and volunteers in the Archdiocese are required to complete.

As a parent you are invited to access these videos by following these steps:

  1. Go to https://dubuque.cmgconnect.org
  2. Register for a new account
  3. Select your school or parish location
  4. Select Role of “Volunteer”
  5. Select Participation as “Parent”
  6. Start the Training, “Safe Haven Training for Parents - Dubuque”
  7. Register your account

Parents who view the videos through the “Parent” section will not be required to have a background check.  Parents who wish to be a parish/school volunteer, averaging over an hour a week, are asked to participate as “Volunteer” (step 5 above) as this will automatically prompt you through the initial background check process.

Important information for parents who drive students to school events.  We appreciate our volunteers and employees that drive for school activities.  The safety of our students is of the utmost importance! As a requirement from Catholic Mutual, the Archdiocesan insurance carrier, all volunteers and employees must complete a 20-minute online defensive driving training prior to driving for school activities.  This includes drivers of both school vehicles and private vehicles.  The required training can be found at cmgconnect.org > Sign in or create an account > Defensive Driving Curriculum > Start Curriculum.  Be sure to use “Dubuque” in the pull-down menu and select the location of your youngest child.  At the end of the training, each participant will complete a driver questionnaire. This will include questions about your personal insurance coverage limits so you will want to have your insurance card available.”

Help more by purchasing Scrip and by cutting the fedora off of the box (=$0.25) and sending them to school. Turn in the flyer from your child's class so our school is credited with your purchase. The homeroom that turns in the most flyers wins a pizza party from Godfather's! Check out all our fundraisers under the Parent Resources page/Fundraisers on our website. Upcoming pizza dates are:  March 13, April 10 and May 8.

Choosing to send our children to Clover Patch Preschool and St Patrick School is one of the best decisions we've made for our family. We really appreciate the smooth transition that takes place from preschool to the elementary. The school has a family-like atmosphere that makes all children feel welcome.
