Congratulations to Mrs. Frederiksen and her homeroom for winning the Godfather’s pizza party for the month of February. Godfather’s also gave the school a check for $87.46, which is a percentage of the sales from that night. Godfather’s Pizza Nights are the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Cedar Falls 1st Street location. Our next night is Wednesday, March 13. Please support Godfather’s for their generous contribution to St. Patrick Catholic School!
The CPTO Meeting on Feb. 12 was cancelled because of the weather. It has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28.
2019-20 Registration form and tuition deposit for K-Gr. 8 students for is due by March 1. For budget purposes, we would appreciation every family returning their registration form with their intentions for 2019-20. Tuition assistance (STO) information will also be going home.

Are your students outgrowing their uniform clothing? We have bins with gently used uniform clothing here at school for free. There is a large amount of girls size 5 & 6. If you would like to look through the bins, stop in the office and we will direct you. If you have uniforms you can no longer use and would like to donate them, you can bring those in as well.

We invite you to view the Catholic Mutual Group Training “Safe Haven - It's Up to You” videos that all employees and volunteers in the Archdiocese are required to complete.
As a parent you are invited to access these videos by following these steps:

Parents who view the videos through the “Parent” section will not be required to have a background check. Parents who wish to be a parish/school volunteer, averaging over an hour a week, are asked to participate as “Volunteer” (step 5 above) as this will automatically prompt you through the initial background check process.

Important information for parents who drive students to school events. We appreciate our volunteers and employees that drive for school activities. The safety of our students is of the utmost importance! As a requirement from Catholic Mutual, the Archdiocesan insurance carrier, all volunteers and employees must complete a 20-minute online defensive driving training prior to driving for school activities. This includes drivers of both school vehicles and private vehicles. The required training can be found at cmgconnect.org > Sign in or create an account > Defensive Driving Curriculum > Start Curriculum. Be sure to use “Dubuque” in the pull-down menu and select the location of your youngest child. At the end of the training, each participant will complete a driver questionnaire. This will include questions about your personal insurance coverage limits so you will want to have your insurance card available.”
