My name is Judy Bullis, and I teach third and fourth grade at St. Patrick School.  I have been with St. Patrick School for seven years.  I teach science, language arts, and math.  Religion is my favorite class to teach because of the great questions and discussions in my class.  I find that my understanding of the Catholic faith grows and changes as I answer questions and guide discussions with students.

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a double major in early childhood and elementary education and a reading endorsement. I am also a member of Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society in the field of education.

I have been an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish since I was a child.  I am a Eucharistic minister, lector, and cantor. I enjoy volunteering at parish functions.  Because I have been a member of this parish since I was a child, there is a great feeling of community and belonging.

Every year St. Patrick School focuses on a gospel value and integrates it across the curriculum and in social situations. For the last two years our gospel value has been “peace.”  We have learned as a class and a school that peace effects our daily lives on multiple levels.  We have been working to promote peace in ourselves, in our relationships, and in the larger community.  It is always wonderful to see how our actions and decisions effect the world around us!
