Festival of Trees
Joni Krejchi, Unit C teacher, coordinated St. Patrick School's entry for Festival of Trees. Working with the art teachers in all units and some parents, the school was able to produce a beautiful tree. Every student made a piece or created an ornament to place on the tree. Once the festival is finished, the tree will be donated to a family in the North Cedar area of Cedar Falls, affected by the June 2008 flooding. The theme of the Festival was "Twas the Night Before Christmas..." The St. Patrick Tree was called, "Read Me a Story" and incorporated two children's books. A big thank you to Dalton Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling for the donation of the tree and supplies.
