Technology | At St. Patrick School all students K-8 use technology in their classrooms. Each student has access to laptops on every floor and desktop computers in each classroom. Every grade level works on developmentally appropriate skills in using technology and these are assessed twice a year on report cards. These technology standards cover not only skills each student should have but also goes beyond. All students are taught how to use technology responsibly, work collaboratively and cooperatively with technology and how to use positive and ethical behavior with technology. Our goal is that each student has ample experience with technology preparing them for their future. We strongly suggest keyboarding practice at home for students in grades 3-8.
