About Us

St. Patrick School

Our Mission

The St. Patrick Catholic School community provides a Christ centered education empowering learners through leadership, service, and academic excellence.

Established in 1891, St. Patrick School has a long-standing tradition of providing an outstanding academic program in a Christ like atmosphere at an affordable cost. Our caring teachers and staff emphasize the faith and values you are teaching your child at home. Freedom, acceptance, group interaction, leadership, and service are nurtured as students learn essential problem-solving skills and concepts that set them up for a lifetime of success.

We are certified by the state and held to the same state standards as all Iowa schools. Our annual standardized test results consistently show the benefits of our rigorous curriculum and focus on each and every child. See how we stack up.

We partner with parents to educate the whole child and will work with you to make a faith-based education a possibility for your child. Onsite childcare before and after school, bus service, and a variety of after-school activities and athletics make life easy for busy families. Tuition assistance is available to those who qualify. Families may also receive an Iowa Tuition and Textbook tax credit for 25% of the first $1,000 paid for each dependent for tuition and specific fees.

St. Patrick Catholic School serves students from a variety of faith backgrounds. We welcome the diversity that non-Catholic families bring to our school, and we enjoy learning about their beliefs and practices.

The faculty and staff at St. Patrick School really love their jobs and the kids.  It is such a wonderful thing to see as a parent!  It really is a great big family…not just a teaching institution.”
